Pr. Lori-Anne Boutin-Crawford grew up in Saskatchewan, and studied at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, attaining a BEd specializing in Secondary Education (2001) and a BA specializing in Religious Studies and Russian (2005), including a year of study at the University of St. Petersburg in Russia (2004). Lori-Anne worked as a supply teacher in Leeds, England (2001-2002), taught English in St. Petersburg, Russia (2004), and was a French-Immersion teacher in Saskatoon at St. Gerardís (2005) and at the Saskatoon French School (2005-2006); she was also an educator in Katsuyama and Kamishihi in Japan (2006-2007), and in Hong Kong, China (2008-2009).

Although raised Roman Catholic, Lori-Anne officially converted to the Lutheran faith in 2006, and commenced her seminary formation in 2008. Completing her MDiv at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Saskatoon (2012), Lori-Anne also studied for three semesters at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Hong Kong (2008-2009), and served as an intern-pastor at the Lutheran Urban Mission Society in Vancouver, BC (2010-2011).

Pr. Lori-Anne was ordained at her home parish, Augustana Lutheran Church, in Saskatoon, SK on February 19th, 2012 after joyfully accepted an exciting call to serve as co-pastor with Pr Hergy at First Lutheran Church. She began her ministry here on March 1st, 2012, and was formally installed on March 18th, 2012.
